Stillwater is more than a spa; it’s a sanctuary in the forest, where the elements are intertwined in every treatment. Guests come here to experience something special, to slow down and remember what it feels like to rest, to feel connected to nature. To experience ritual in treatments.
For practitioners, Stillwater offers the opportunity to bring their skills into a setting that combines natural with luxury. It’s a workplace that asks for attention to detail, professionalism, presence, dedication, intuition and soul. At Stillwater, massage is viewed not just as a treatment but as retreat like experience, an opportunity for the client to go inward, find their centre and peace.

I have been having the dreamiest summer working at Stillwater Nature Spa. The team truly values wellness, not only for our guests and the wellness practitioners too. The atmosphere is so peaceful and the surroundings are absolutely stunning. As a practitioner, I appreciate how much thought goes into every aspect of the guest experience. We’re encouraged to take time with our clients, offer personalized care - it’s all about intention and quality. If you love nature, holistic wellness, working with kind like-minded & inspiring people, Stillwater is an amazing place to be. —Kirstin (2025)
“Working at Stillwater in Tofino from spring through fall is a dream. The setting is magical, spending your days outside in the forest, in between trees and mycelium, hearing birds singing in the background, with the calm inlet right there for your lunchbreak. The tent is a beautiful sanctuary, not just for guests but also for practitioners, and it really allows people to drop in deeply. Working at Hotel Zed is another highlight. Their staff are always so supportive and kind, and it’s a gift to be able to grab a coffee or a bite if you forgot to pack lunch. Guests consistently have wonderful experiences here and show their appreciation generously with tips, which makes the busy summer season feel rewarding. Even in spring and autumn, there’s a steady flow of work, so you’re able to stay fairly busy throughout the whole season. You can also dip out in the winter without needing to ask first time off which is great if you want to chase sun and warmer weather. Everyone is on equal footing and bookings are shared fairly, which creates a supportive atmosphere for practitioners. For anyone considering a move to Tofino as a body worker, I would highly recommend working at Stillwater. It’s a supportive, inspiring, and abundant place to practice.”— Joanna T (2021, 2022)
